Hi, I’m Jaco Erasmus, owner, and founder of Rent a Greenhouse. I grew up on a farm where we produced a variety of crops. After school, I left the farm to start a construction company in Johannesburg that progressed to a successful company 18 years later.

Covid lockdown in early 2020 shut down all business and made me realize it’s time to go back to my roots. I have experience in Aquaponic, Hydroponic, Organic farming, and the construction of greenhouses.

I started ‘Rent a Greenhouse’ on a small holding to show local people from the community how to farm, be self-sustainable and enjoy organically grown produce. This business is the first of its kind. I built the first greenhouse to rent out in August 2020, and I’m very proud to say that Rent a Greenhouse currently has 80 greenhouses available to rent.
